Mommy Gets An IPOD

Well mommy has decided to join this century and has purchased an IPOD. This is the coolest thing ever. I am now up to 155 of my fav songs and I can rock out everywhere I go!

Well, most of you know that John loves to sing and dance. I have posted his video singing "boots on" by Randy Houser on my facebook page so I'll get it on here soon also. Anyway, Lady Antebellum comes on and John screams out..."Momma I love this song..its LAZY ANABELLA"!!! Of course I burst out laughing and John gets upset because you see he really gets his undies in a wad if you laugh at him. He hasn't grasped the concept that i'm not making fun of him, he just did or said something I thought was funny. Anyway, he's 4 so maybe he will get it one day!

John Goes To Work With Mommy

John had a recheck appointment with the ENT this morning at 10. Well, mommy had the bright idea that he could just come to work with her instead of her doing all of that backtracking....

Well, the first 10 minutes were awesome. I set him up a little corner with markers and a dry erase board. I guess what mommy was doing looked like more fun because from there it went down hill.

His ENT appointment went good. He still does NOT need tubes, which is GREAT!!! Anyway, John asks that I call Mendy, because he doesn't want to go to Ms Ann's. So, we call Mendy and of course she says bring him on and that she has Griffin so they can play. Yippee!!!! So, we get there and right off the bat John and Griffin begin to argue and fight (as usual). Well I get on to John and he looks at me and says "you can go now"... Of course he gets popped but still. Where on earth has he gotten this smart mouth? This isn't the first time and I know it won't be the last. Thank goodness Mendy has him the rest of the day. I know my nerves nor my office could handle him until 5!!!

Tuesday Fight Night

What a wild and crazy evening we had last night. The kids were on it! Max had a Shrine meeting so the kids and I dropped by Big Boys to get a snack. Well as usual they shoplifted quite a bit of candy. Thank goodness "Gunk" AKA Aunt Fran won't prosecute her adorable nephew and niece! Anyway after destroying Big Boys we headed home....

Well "Gunk" AKA Aunt Fran and Uncle Jeff stopped by the house. See, John's birthday was a couple of weeks ago and he got two awesome nerf guns. One is a pump shotgun type which shoots balls (Thank you Bellflowers) and the other is a gigantic machine gun type that shoots the shells (thanks Adam, Kris and B). Anyway, Uncle Jeff's birthday was last Saturday. So, John thought he should have a nerf gun too. Uncle Jeff opened it last night and then we had WAR!!! Ok, we left the machine gun in the room. The other two guns shoot balls. Umm, I thought Nerf was supposed to be soft. Those things hurt especially being hit point blank in the forehead!

This type of WAR is not uncommen in the Crazy Crews House! Between the Nerf Guns and the 6 light sabers we have a lot of fun. Oh and don't forget our version of Ultimate Fighting Championship! You'd think my two year old precious little girl would be so girly and dainty....NOPE...she's usually the ring leader!

Our Life In A Nutshell...so far!

Well, I guess this is just one of those things where you see everyone else blogging about their family and lives and you think well I can probably do that too. Plus, it would give me the chance to show off my really cute and funny kids! ;)

Lets see, Max and I have been married for 9 years now. Most people don't know Max was transferred to Jacksonville for about 4 years. During that time we both went back to school. Boy was that hard for me. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Max got his Bachelors in Business Admin and then 'brainy' decides to get his MBA and finished it a year later. In the mean time we built a house (oh how I miss it) and lived in a fantastic community. We had family close by too. This enable Max and I both to get to know them more and develop relationships that will never be broken. Boy how I miss them...love and miss you guys daily (tear...sniff)

Anyway, in November of 2004 I couldn't shake this stomach virus. So, I went to the Doc....low and behold I was 10 weeks preggers! Of course I asked how (and not why ya think). I had some health issues that would supposed to not let that happen. Anyway, we were in total shock! After a great pregnancy John Maxwell was born July 13 2005. And, he had colic for 5 months. Well the day we brought him home Max received an email that the company he worked for had been bought out by a BIG company. We were freaking out.

Anyway, another long story short. Max got transferred back to this area. We signed the papers to put the house on the market and it sold two days later. Another freak out! We moved December 1, 2005 back to Btown. Max and I both graduated the next week.

Fast forward a few months when low and behold I order a corndog at a seafood restaurant that become a heated discussion by hubby and friends that I must be preggers again. Oh no I wasn't. We went straight to Wal-Mart and bought 2 preg tests! Well lets just say the result ended in a hysterical metltdown. Well, I was 11 weeks preggers! On February 1, 2007 Sara Kate was born.

Lets see, I began work at Head Start as a Family Service worker and continued with that job until we had the bright idea to buy a store. *Sore Subject*

Now, I am a Victims Advocate for Victim Services in Bainbridge. Our district includes Baker, Calhoun, Decatur, Grady and Mitchell Counties. Max is still with the same company and is Area Manager now. John just celebrated his 4th birthday and will start pre-k in August. Sara Kate is me made over (all over) and was 2 in February.

So, that is the latest on us right now!
